Food delivery is a growing part of our routines. It’s easy, convenient, and there are more and more restaurants available. And the current global pandemic has contributed to further accelerate this trend. However, not everything is perfect. Most restaurants and food businesses wanting to capture the delivery opportunity often have to choose between the steep costs of selling through delivery marketplace apps, and the complexity of setting up and running their own delivery operations.
Kitch is here to fix this. We are a technology company that builds the platform for restaurants of all sizes to own and to make the most of their online deliveries, regardless of the channels they use, while providing the highest standard of experiences to their customers. This means that we want restaurants to take back control of their deliveries: maximizing their delivery sales, gaining back the relationship with their customers, letting go of the complexity of doing delivery over multiple channels, and reducing their costs.
There is much to do, many things to build, and we are literally just getting started. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a startup in a fast-growth space in a seed stage. We are a Lisbon-based startup and our team is composed of former executives at major tech, food-delivery, and food & beverage companies and brands internationally, with extensive startup and strategy consulting experience. You are passionate about building something from scratch.
You have experience in managing relationships with multiple clients, namely in account management or sales roles, ideally in a startup context.
You love people and are passionate about supporting clients and developing relationships. You are structured and know how to build sustainable trust in partners. You like to test and believe in relentless experimentation to find the optimal way forward. You are fiercely creative and are unafraid of experimenting with the unconventional roads. You are more than willing to admit failure and to move forward. You get things done, knowing that nothing is ever done and can always be improved.
You love food, and you are excited about embracing the challenge of how food is consumed and distributed in the modern age, enabling restaurants and customers to benefit from technology and innovation. Bringing a new concept to an industry that is largely established is something you look forward to doing.

This is a ground floor opportunity at a seed-stage startup.
We are looking for a Restaurant Account Manager to work in tandem with Sales to support and develop relationships with multiple restaurants. Also, because we are early stage, we are looking for someone that can continuously develop the required processes for the team to scale.
Your first goal is to provide incredible support to restaurants. You will start to build relationships during the onboarding phase and will be focused on ensuring that restaurants always feel supported and heard. From ensuring everything is properly set up, to providing additional info when needed, to bringing all feedback back to the team so we can build a better product.
Your second goal is to identify opportunities for providing additional value to restaurants. You will be responsible for identifying what are the needs of each restaurant that already works with Kitch and to present them with additional solutions that can support them. As we develop our product there are many roads that can be taken, and understanding what are the most relevant for restaurants will be essential.
Your third goal is to track and improve restaurant retention. Whatever are the reasons for a restaurant to stop using our products, we need to deeply understand them and work to improve. You will ensure that we can track the reason that led to this, so we can provide a better service and bring every single one back.
