Food delivery is a growing part of our routines. It’s easy, convenient, and there are more and more restaurants available. However, not everything is perfect. Many of our favorite restaurants still don’t make it to our dining tables. And most restaurants haven’t conceived their food to travel across town inside a backpack, on a motorbike.
Kitch is here to fix this. We’re a kitchen. We are not a delivery app, and we are not a restaurant. We’re a kitchen that is distributed all over town and that houses the most exciting restaurants. A kitchen where the most creative chefs will cook new and exclusive dishes, as well as their most popular classics. A kitchen where everything is designed from scratch to order food and eat it at home — from the ingredients to the packaging.
We are a Lisbon-based startup and our team is composed of former executives at major tech, food-delivery, and food & beverage companies and brands internationally, with extensive startup and strategy consulting experience. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our campaigns and stunts efforts, and to help us continuously develop a brand with personality and an edge.
As the kitchen for the best food delivered at home, Kitch has different types of customers - the Eater, the Restaurant and the Delivery partners. Your overarching goal is to ensure that people know Kitch, know what we stand for, and are excited about what we are delivering. That will require shifting from a B2C approach (to the Eater) to a B2B approach (to the Restaurant) and vice-versa whenever needed.
This is a ground floor opportunity at a seed-stage startup.
Your first goal is to get the word out. It’s early days at Kitch and our goal is to get the word out and to excite people about our mission and food. You will be developing the strategy and tactics to get the word out about our company and product. You’ll be in charge of our marketing campaigns and stunts, from ideation to execution, understanding our startup context and our need to keep punching above our weight.
Your second goal is to use marketing to drive performance. You will experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels - content creation and curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, relevant partnerships, and so on.
Your third goal will be to ensure we are always producing strong content. You’ll be responsible for producing valuable content for our website, blog, newsletter and social media channels that attracts and engages our target audiences. You’ll oversee and approve marketing materials, working with agencies and designers, from social media assets to hard copy brochures and beautifully illustrated copies.
